Position Summary: A senior member of the IC engineering design team focused on the development of state-of-the-art Analog and Radio Frequency (RF) Communication Based Integrated Circuits (ICs). The individual in this role is responsible for leading and managing projects and developing circuits targeting customer driven Design Specifications.
Principal Duties: - Provide technical leadership role in analog/RF/mixed signal IC architecture, circuit and sub-circuit development, including floor planning and physical design
- Manage projects and prioritize and schedule activities to meet customer requirements
- Lead the development of IC Level Design Requirements definition to be used by multi-discipline engineering teams
- Lead the development of supporting digital circuits (ie; serial interface, Delta-Sigma Modulator, digital filters)
- Lead and contribute in the development of an analog/RF IC characterization and test platform
- Manage and contribute in the documentation of IC development activities
Qualifications:
Education: - Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: - 10+ years of relevant experience with analog/RF subsystem development including several of LNAs, mixers, oscillators, frequency synthesizers, opamps, power amplifiers, VGAs, continuous time filters, and support circuits (ie; bandgap references, current mirrors, etc.)
- 3+ years of project management and leadership roles in analog/RF/mixed signal IC development
- Experience working with System and digital circuit teams in the successful integration analog/RF and digital functions
- Established track record of delivering first pass success IC designs
- Experience with Digital Sigma-Delta Modulators would be an asset
- Experience with Industry Standard Design Tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, maltab/Simulink, etc.)
- Experience with Bipolar, BiCMOS, and CMOS processes
- Military/Space process and application experience an asset

Supervisory Responsibilities:- Ability to work with simple project management tools and prioritize work activities appropriately
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior, intermediate and senior design engineers
Working Conditions: - Must be able to work in a typical office setting
- Must be able to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines
- May be required to work evenings and/or weekends from time-to-time when required to meet deadlines or to minimize disruption to the network during core working hours
