Kaben Wireless Silicon appoints Paul Slaby as CEO

Ottawa, Ontario - December 17, 2007. Kaben Wireless Silicon Inc, one of the industry's leading wireless semiconductor design companies, announced today the appointment of Dr. C. Paul Slaby as its President and Chief Executive Officer.

As an accomplished high-tech executive and entrepreneur, Paul Slaby brings over 20 years of experience in starting, managing and growing technology companies. This includes his roles as founder and CEO of ATMOS Corporation and VoIPshield Systems, managing companies through organic growth and raising venture capital funding. He also started and managed an overseas semiconductor design center in Europe, MicroSemiX Ltd. He served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the National Research Council, as member of the Strategic Microelectronics Consortium and as an Advisor to Carleton University Foundry program. Prior to that Mr. Slaby held management positions in Bell Northern Research and Nortel.

As part of the reorganization, the company's founder, Tom Riley resumes the position of Chairman of the Board and continues as Chief Technology Officer.
